Meet Virna Elly

AFTER|words grew from Virna’s own experience of what comes after a life-changing event.

Even when the event itself is over, there is still space needed to process what happened, make sense of what changed, and find words for all of it—who you are now, who you might want to become, and how the experience may inform what comes next.

Virna created AFTER|words Collective to offer that space through thoughtfully designed guided journaling experiences.

Her approach draws from lived experience, years of patient advocacy, and a professional career working with people and organizations through complex transformation and change. She is also an accredited AllSwell Academy Superconductor, trained in the art and practice of facilitating guided journaling workshops.

Virna provides the structure, questions, and space for reflection. Participants decide what they write, what they share, and what (if anything) comes next.
